Buda-bye – Mostar

Mostar translates to ‘bridge’ in English, and the city was highlighted by its infamous arched bridge. It was warm enough to shed off my big winter coat, which is saying something for mid-November.

In the area surrounding the bridge, there were about six or seven mosques. My favorite moment of the Bosnia trip was standing on that bridge and listening to the call to prayer echoing through the mountains.
