Our Route France to Spain

As short drive away from Gallocanta, is one of Spain’s most beautiful villages. If it had a body like France’s Les Plus Beaux Villages, then Albarracín would most definitely be on it. From the motorway, much like so many places, you can’t imagine what it would be like and you are almost tempted to by-pass it, although the 20 minute deviation is definitely worthy of your turning wheels.

We Camped Spain!

Going on a vacation to anywhere (especially overseas) can be a completely stressful and expensive endeavor leading up to and during the vacation. Tickets are always a little too expensive, decent hotels are hard to find, and there’s always those arguments of what you want to do/see and if you have the time to do it.

We decided that we were going to scratch just about all of that, and go on a little more unconventional vacation to experience a taste of Spain.

Girona & Costa Brava By Car Or Motorhome

Girona’s city centre is really welcoming; walking through its narrow streets which look like a maze will make you time travel mainly due to its Jewish quarter, the biggest and best preserved one in the whole Europe. The reason why Girona kept this amazing Jewish quarter so well preserved is quite surprising; when the Jews were expelled from the city, the quarter entrance was bricked up and as the years went by, it was totally forgotten by the city inhabitants. It was luckily rediscovered during some street maintenance.
