Green water I saw at Grüner See

Green water I saw in Austria. There is a place called Grüner See. It is a lake in Styria, Austria in a village called Tragöß. The lake is surrounded by the Hochschwab Mountains and forests. The name “Green Lake” originated because of its emerald-green water.

The Sights and Sounds of Salzburg

Salzburg has the look of an enchanted folk story village whilst maintaining a buzzing city atmosphere. It is the combination of old and new which makes Salzburg truly special. Its Baroque styled domed buildings add to the city’s old world charm.

Gosau welcomes you with open arms

It was literally love at first sight moment with this place. A highway with scenic views on both sides going directly into the mountains and it slowly reveals the magic of one of the most beautiful places that we have witnessed.

The dramatic backdrop of Innsbruck

Innsbruck is a university town and winter sports center about two hours east of Bregenz, in the Tirol province. Skiing aficionados congregate here during the winter months. The town has hosted the Winter Olympics a few times. My favorite part of this place is the architecture and its dramatic backdrop: the Karwendel Alps.

A dream trip to Hallstatt

I’ve always seen photos of Hallstatt on Instagram, and on articles saying that it’s a top destination. So during a visit to Salzburg, we decided to make a stop since it was only an hour and a half away. First of all, the drive to Hallstatt was just magnificent, the beautiful mountains, the turquoise lakes, the drive itself was worth it. But nothing could prepare you for just how beautiful this place really was.
