Happiness filled my soul in Ramsau

We found it! An off the beaten path destination that stole our hearts. That made time feel as if it stood still. Tucked away in the Bavarian Alps lies the quiet, little, quintessential, dream-like village of Ramsau.

Tranquil reflections on Lake Obersee

Obersee is only accessible by boat and there is nowhere to stay once you get there, so we were repeatedly warned that if we miss the last boat, we were stuck on our own! The boat ride was about an hour long and the whole way we were surrounded by amazing views.

Neuschwanstein Castle, a Disney dream come true

Perched at the top of the hill and surrounded by rolling green valleys and leafy forests, stands the majestic Neuschwanstein Castle. You can see why King Ludwig wanted to build his palace here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Views: Cochem, Germany

This little town on the banks of the Moselle river really took us by surprise. We planned the trip on a whim and didn’t have many expectations. Cochem is a very peaceful town which allows you wake up and enjoy a slow breakfast, stroll the streets at your own pace, and even have an impromptu wine tasting of the local grape: Reisling.
